XIVELY WEB DATABSE

 

An account was set up on the Xively website and a feed was created whereby the Raspberry Pi could upload data to this feed. 

 

The created feed was set up as a public feed so that it could be viewed by anyone. The FEED_ID and the API_KEY was recorded and filled into the Raspberry Pi code so that it had the relevant permissions to communicate with the Xively feed.

 

Data that is sent to the Xively feed can be viewed as either a live value or else on a graph. To get the graph view, the user simply has to click on the name of the data that they would like to see in graph form and the graph will open. Try it out now!!
